Vision
Serve
Current Environment
Serving you means providing the right support to make your University experience a well-rounded and satisfying journey. Access to technology, part time and flexible employment opportunities, cost-effective alternatives for products and services, and social and study space are all examples of the ways the Federation of Students serves you.
Feds businesses, the UPASS, Feds Bus, and Health and Dental Plan are constantly being evolved to meet your needs. This past year Feds proposed plans for a Health Services Expansion and the Student Services Complex to improve our student facilities, and we still have a long way to address our growing needs.
2010 will be a year of pride for the Federation of Students as we continue to serve you in new and exciting ways!

It is essential that Waterloo has high-quality support and representation to meet the diverse needs of our students. The Federation of Students representsyour interests at all levels of our community from partnerships with the UW administration to lobbying the municipal, provincial, and federal governments.
Ensuring you feel represented means being engaged in discussions on a regular basis, and providing multiple opportunities to provide input. To ensure these opportunities are in place we need strong governance and student input in the everyday workings of our institution and the Federation of Students.
